Tim Cummins

Tim Cummins, CEO & Founder, has over 20 years of design and executive management experience in Westinghouse and Analog Devices, in Ireland, US, and Beijing. He was responsible for microprocessor hardware & software development, sensors, semiconductor fabrication and mixed-signal IC design. He holds 11 US Patents in mixed-signal CMOS IC design, for products which today generate annual revenues of over $100M. He has published several papers (including presentations at ISSCC and ESSCIRC), and is a visiting lecturer and guest speaker at industry conferences and panels.

Ray Speer

Ray Speer, CTO & Founder, has 23 years of experience in the semiconductor industry at ADI, S3 & Philips, and holds several US Patents in mixed-signal IC design. He was Vice President, Mixed-Signal Design, in Parthus Ltd, and a key member of the senior management team which oversaw the flotation of Parthus on Nasdaq and London Stock Exchanges in 2001. In 2002 he joined Silansys as director, a Dublin IC design company which was acquired by Frontier Silicon in early 2005.

Kevin Styles is VP Marketing & Business-Development, in ChipSensors US Office in Lincoln, MA. Kevin has over 20 years experience in Marketing, Sales, and business development in the Semiconductor industry. In Harris Semiconductor he held product marketing and sales director roles; in Analog Devices he was product line director of a $300M+ business unit, and from 1999 to 2006 Kevin was ADI's Vice-President of Worldwide Channel Sales and Marketing

Daniel McCaughan

Dr. Daniel McCaughan, PhD, FIEE, is a director of ChipSensors Ltd, and provides strategic support in CMOS sensor development.

Prof. McCaughan has extensive, specialist knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, having worked on CMOS dielectrics and process development at Bell Labs. He also has considerable business experience – previous roles include Technical Director at GEC-Marconi, Chief Scientist at STC/Nortel, and President & COO of Cambridge Display Technologies. Prof. McCaughan holds 20 patents, and has over 100 publications to his name.

Niall Olden

Niall Olden, B.Comm, ACMA.
As a director of ChipSensors, Niall provides strategic business and financial advice. He has been CFO of Raidtec Corp (storage networks) and CR2 (Banking), and held management roles in Jefferson Smurfit and Clondalkin Groups. As a corporate finance advisor, he led a significant number of international fundraisings, acquisitions and trade sales, totalling in excess of €100m. Niall is currently CEO of Kernel Capital Partners, ChipSensors lead investor.
